The Weeknd - Outside

"I expect to see a blogpost on this tomorrow!"

MCARROLL4-7-1-6 Mix: The Best of The Weeknd

It's Friday afternoon, may as well get ready for the Weeknd.

One of my favorite new singers...

The Weeknd - Dirty Diana

I can't say enough about how much I really like The Weeknd's cover of MJ's classic, Dirty Diana. He takes this and definitely adds his style/flair to it. It'll never be the original but his cover is pretty friggin' good.

On the other side of the spectrum you have "Practice" by Drake which is not a true cover but close enough:

Don't get it twisted, I'm a big Drake fan but I don't think he did a good job on that one. It just doesn't flow well to me.

The Weeknd - Montreal

Been rocking this kinda heavy lately. Off his Echoes of Silence mixtape. I'm starting to feel like a lot of his music has a Sade vibe to it sonically. Maybe that's why I like a lot of the stuff I hear from him.
