- They are in the club screaming no new friends. What guys do you know that would do that?
- None of them really stick completely to the theme of the song on their verses, but I guess this is nothing new in hip-hop today.
- I missed the entire point of Wayne's verse except he's been Ca$h Money from day one.

DJ Khaled feat Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne - No New Friends
First and foremost, I LIKE THIS SONG. But, there are a few things that I found interesting.

Video: DJ Khaled - I Did It For My Dawgs
Featuring Rick Ross, French Montana, Meek Mill, Ace Hood, and Jadakiss. This is my favorite joint off "Kiss the Ring". LOL at how Khaled snuck an Ace Hood verse on the video version of the track.

Oh My Damn Hip-Hop! Face, Nas, and (raised eyebrow) DJ Khaled
FACEMOB!!!! Also, Nas's verse on this was pretty freakin' good. This is right up his lane. The track is an ill double-entendre. Oh yeah, Dwight Howard got traded to the Lakers last night too (somewhere Chris Paul is pissed).

Wake & Drake: I'm On One
As an aside, I went back and listened to Khaled's first album "Listeeeennnnnn" and I just want to put it out there that he has several tracks on there that might be street classics ("Holla At Me Baby", "Born N Raised", and arguably "Grammy Family") . If he didn't scream so much on all the tracks I think he'd get more respect in general for the work he's done over the years he's been somewhat mainstream. Most people find Khaled annoying because of the ad-libs but he has a knack for putting together some good crew tracks and some good songs in general ("Cash Flow" or "Go Hard" anyone?).

What's Life Without a Soundtrack...

Every time I hear the song "Music For Life" I think about how much music is a part of my life and how much I enjoy listening to music.
I'm a hip-hop guy so I tend to listen to way more hip-hop than any other genre of music. I get my R&B in of course, a little jazz here-and-there, and the occasional jump into rock or some sort of "hip-rock" mash-up. Lately I've had a few songs in my "Every Day" mix on my Blackberry that I'd like to share:
Veteran's Day - Rick Ross, Baby, Lil Wayne
Slow Down - Fat Joe feat. Young Jeezy
Exhibit C - Jay Electronica
Victory - DJ Khaled, Nas, and John Legend
No Excuses - Young Buck
Trap Or Die 2 (Reloaded) - Young Jeezy
Beamer, Benz, Bentley - Lloyd Banks & Juelz Santana
My New Sh*t - Drake, Von Pea, and Phonte

Go Heartless or Go Hard?
Before I begin...What is up with Yeezy's obsession with Tracie Ross's butt? I mean she does look like she has those motherly hips that would look good in some mom jeans, but don't those mom jeans remind you of a wide flat butt moreso than a super fatty? Ok, I'm thinking about this way too much in a public forum.
I'm feeling this joint just as much as Love Lockdown. Not for the music as much as the lyrics.
Go ahead fellas, hate...Then let me know when the album drops how you "all-of-a-sudden" like it. Like you always end up doing.
The animated version of Kanye has his swag and I think that alone makes this video tight! Seriously, the animator gets props from me on this one.
Let me go on the record saying that I completely HATE that dumb azz hat T-Pain wears! And I don't like to use the word hate literally very often but d@mn if I don't hate that minstrel azz hat!
Ok, now that I got that out of my system can someone please tell me where I can get the sunglasses Khaled has on? Better yet, where can I get a pair of designer knock-offs that look like those joints because I am 100% sure they are 1000 times more costly than what I'm willing to spend on shades.
A few questions...

A few questions...
- Why are grown men holding up bottles of Nuvo? Can someone say "payola"?
- What is up with Yeezy's haircut? Is he trying way too hard to look like he doesn't care or is it just me? If you don't care about your cut, just don't. Stop trying to make it look like you don't care. That makes you a poseur, doesn't it?
- Why the hat T-Pain....Why?
- I think Khaled like's boys...Do you? Just watch how he looks at everybody who raps. I understand he gets pumped about the songs and he's sicing his boys (I do the same thing sometimes) but Khaled takes it up a level that I am starting to become uncomfortable with.

Picture(s) of the Day
Game on the cover of the upcoming Source magazine. Perhaps this is in response to G-Unit's suggestion that he should commit suicide? Nevertheless, I think it makes for an interesting cover. This next one is worth far more than 1,000 words....
The most perplexing thing about this picture actually isn't the shirtless Rick Ross because he has shown in the past that he just doesn't care about his blactor (blubber factor). The most perplexing thing is Trina's presence in the picture. Since when has she been relevant? Those old Jordans Ross is rockin' look dope though. Let's just be thankful Khaled didn't take his shirt off too."GET IN MY BELLY!"

Video: Ace Hood (ft. Ricky Ross and T-Pain) - Cash Flow
I'm feeling this joint so I decided to post it.
I can't resist...
1. T-Pain's hats are actually more entertaining than the entire video.
2. Is it me or does Ace Hood look like Jody Breeze in a few of these shots?
3. The beat is infectious.
4. Does Snoop's appearance in this video lend it more street credibility?
5. You can't tell me Rick Ross doesn't look like Nicky Barnes with those shades on.
6. Who knew that one of the Runnerz was a white guy?
7. I love these DJ Khaled crew tracks. Guilty (party) pleasure I guess.
"Girls so hot, Ace so cold/Taking bets, Ace won't fold" - Ross!
