My Latest Pair(s)...

It's been a minute. I had to get some new and relatively cheap oxfords and a nice pair of casual shoes that can be worn with a bunch of different colored shirts and this is what I settled on.

My Latest Pair: Saucony Bullets, AGAIN

I have these in another color and I like them so much I decided to get them in black this time. It's probably overkill but they're comfortable, light, and in times of casual dress, are pretty versatile.

My Latest Pair: Keds Champion Brogue Leather (Charcoal)

My old pair of gray shoes are kind of worn out and I was in need of a new pair. Hence, these...

My Latest Pair: Pony GI Sneaker

It's been a minute since I've posted a pair of kicks. I may have bought two pair since my last pair displayed here but I've been lazy. Oh well.

By now you know that I've got a thing for red and accordingly, these joints have red in them. Probably won't wear these until the weather breaks for consistent warmness, just wanted to share.

My Latest Pair: Chrome Kursk Cordura

Just got these in the mail yesterday at the same time as the Vibram's. I like these shoes even more than when I saw them online. Chill, casual, and durable.

My Latest Pair: Vibram Five Fingers KSO

YES, that's my foot (lol)!

By now, most of you have probably seen some random person wearing these and wondered "what the hell are those things?" What they are, is a pair of shoes that you can use to exercise, run, play, and do much more in. I have yet to do anything other than try them on but I'm going to wear them this weekend for a couple activities and see how they feel.

According to the Vibram website (and I will definitely be testing this out first-hand now that I have them) they: 1) strengthen muscles in your feet and lower legs, 2) improve your range of motion in ankles, feet, and toes, 3) stimulate neural function important to balance and agility, 4) improves proprioception and body awareness, 5) eliminates heel lift to align the spine and improve posture, and 6) allows the feet and body to move naturally.

Not to mention they stand out, lol. But probably for all the wrong reasons. I guess they do look like gloves for your feet. Anywho, there are more pics below.

My Latest Pair: Creative Recreation Cesario Lo XVI

Like I normally do, I'm posting my latest pair of kicks for you guys to bash or love. I like to think I have good taste in shoes and definitely an eye for shoes that no one else has but feel free to humble me, lol.

This pair actually isn't the latest pair I've bought, technically. But unless you guys want to see a pair of Nike flip-flops I'm gonna go ahead and assume that I'm ok with posting these as my latest pair.
The strap on these may look familiar to you because they're the same brand as a previous pair I posted, Creative Recreation. The pair you see above is essentially a boat shoe. The black part is canvas and the sole is white and made of the same material as a pair of Chuck's or Pro-Keds.

You'll probably see about 3 more of these in the next month or so as I've went on a shoe purchasing binge via my favorite retailer, the INTERWEB.

My Latest Pairs: Vacation Kicks

I'm getting ready for vacation in a couple days and I decided to buy some casual shoes for the trip. Naturally, one of them had to be red and the other pair had to have just a touch of red in them.

For some of my past footwear purchases, take a look here.

My Latest Pair

My latest pair of shoes is a step outside of the normal type of shoe I wear. My homie Apuje broke me off with a discount code for Creative Reaction so I figured I'd look on their website and see anything that I liked. As Laf can vouch for on my behalf, I have a thing for shoes with red and black in them (red is my favorite color). So as nature would have it, of all the shoes on the Creative Reaction website, I found a pair that I liked that are black, with red outlines. Go figure.

Here's a picture of 'em. I'm betting that the reaction (get it, reaction as in "Creative Reaction". Yes, I'm that corny) to these will be split completely down the middle. Or completely negative, lol.

I actually think they look kinda bland in the first pic but with some jeans I think they'll come off more stylish since a good part of the shoe will be covered up.

My Latest Pair

If you caught my last post on my latest pair of shoes then you know that I have a strong proclivity for buying shoes. I haven't bought a pair of shoes in a minute so I figured I'd post the pair I just purchased. Shot goes out to Wingenroth for Prime-ing these via Amazon for me.
These are the New Balance Men's RX505. They're actually a cross-country shoe (spikes and all) but I plan on using them to play football in. Why you ask (because I'm sure you care)? Because they're light. I thought about buying a pair of football cleats until I realized how I don't like the clunkiness and weight of cleats. Then I realized just how light the track shoes I used to wear when I ran actually are. Granted, a pair of cross-country spikes won't have the lateral support - in terms of being able to cut east/west with a good grip - like football cleats do. But in the end, I'm not trying out for a spot on the Redskins either so what does that matter, lol?

Sidebar: The Redskins could use me right now though to be honest.

So we'll see how these cross country kicks fare on the football field this weekend. Hopefully I don't bloody too many people with these. LOL.

My Latest Pair

I just copped some new kicks and as @LAFgoesON and @RahOfEyekon can attest to, I have a penchant for copping shoes that I assume no one else will buy or has. I don't really follow trends when it comes to tennis shoes or sneakers. When it comes to boots or dress shoes I'll go with the flow and get some Tims (no Nike Boots though) or some Ferragamo's or Mezlans or whatever else is the standard for quality. But I like to keep my casual/tennis shoe game a lil spicy/different.

I just got the pair below and my co-worker @bwingenroth told me he was feeling them. @Angolia loathes them but she also hated these, calling them "boat shoes". Yet she doesn't call these (which I also have) boat shoes. Go figure. To each his/her own.

The shoes below are actually pretty old so I'm sure there have been dudes with these already but hopefully they've "fallen off the map" (so to speak) so when I break out with a fresh pair it'll come across as stylish and not plain ole' late.

What do you think?

P.S. - Laf, this does not mean that the adidas are getting retired. Imma wear those until they leaning like a dope fiend.

Air Yeezy's

I don't really buy custom tennis shoes but I gotta get a pair of these joints since I'm trying to be so flyy they call me Marty.

The all black joints and the pair in the top pic on the right would be the joints I'd consider buying. Maybe the Glow in the Dark ones but I'm not sold on those just yet.
