If hip-hop is dead, they must have forgot to tell Common...

and Kanye...

In case you're wondering why I posted that, it's because it's really this (shot out to John Mayer on the vocals)...

all i will say is that the whole "hip hop is dead" thing caused folks to talk, and definitely made folks produce some G.O.O.D. music...so either way, music fans WIN!

That hip-hop is dead thing was just something NaS said to mean that the true essence of hip-hop was being lost and how the commercialization has taken more and more away from the genre over the years. A lot of people ran with it and I don't think they gave it critical thought to really try and understand what he meant.

Nevertheless, there have been some good albums released since the so-called death of hip-hop.

i know what it meant mike...i was just saying...it still caused people to talk and debate it the whole young jeezy going on a campaign this past winter to prove it wasn't dead...remember that? all i am saying is it made people think and talk, and helped push people, that's my personal opinion/view if you will..

i was basically saying what you saying but not as well

Right. I think you're misinterpreting my tone in that last comment. I apologize for that.

"i am saying is it made people think and talk" I agree.

I likes bapes it is a really dope brand to buy but I cant afford no authentic bape cuz right now Im on the welfare, so I just usually look up bape on google and buy a replica one usually the quality is pretty good. I think Bape needs some new styles though.
