From the looks of things my favorite rapper of all the times is back on his Kingdom Come vibe. That is NOT a good sign for the upcoming Blueprint 3 album that's allegedly (shot out to BHill) going to drop sometime this year. With that said, make of this track what you wish...
Topic: This is one of the two reasons it's Kingdom Come-esque to me. Jay is losing shyt to talk about so he has to talk about how he has money and what happens when it's gone. Will the chick stick around? Will she ride for you? Yada yada yada blah blah blah. This is shyt you would expect to hear from Ace Hood, not the man who is well-established in the game, rich (if not wealthy), married to Beyonce, and probably doesn't have to worry if his money is going to go anywhere. In other words, it doesn't come across as realistic. Is this really how Jay feels or is he tryna channel some shyt from back in 88 when NaS was getting chased in his buildings? I don't get it but I just don't think it's any real passion there. It seems contrived. Like I said, this topic would be cool coming from Ace Hood or Plies or someone like that but from Jay it just makes it seem like he's trying to rehash old shyt.
Beat: Reason #2. As soon as I heard this beat I thought of Pharrell. Now I don't know if he did this joint or not but I bet if you put this track smack in the middle of Kingdom Come it would sound like it was there from the beginning or at the very least like it wasn't some random track that has no place on the album. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a BAD beat, it's just lacks the aggressiveness that I think Jay needs right now to bring that mean and vicious flow back. This track is perfect for that whisper flow he jacked from Young Chris years ago.
Jay's flow is always on-point EXCEPT on that Go Hard remix, LOL.

So what about the song do you not like? Topic? Beat? Flow?
