You know, it's funny though. Because I know bamas like this. I mean, my next door neighbor back home got shot 17 times behind my mom's crib. He thinks he's bulletproof. But I understand the hood mentality so I understand why homie's so proud of being shot that many times and surviving. When all you know is a few blocks or a burrough in NYC and you're exposed to the streets all your life, this is the type of stuff you give back to the world. It is very sad.
you and I are from the same type of place...right down the pike...so I understand it as well, but like you said...its sad and it just makes me appreciate all that I have been given in this life
