The Milton S. Eisenhower Symposium has brought some very powerful and thought-provoking speakers to the Johns Hopkins campus over the past 8 years that I've been here in Baltimore and somehow affiliated with the school. This year they've already had Harry Belafonte and Ralphy Nader. In past years I've gone to see Spike Lee and Jerry Springer has come along with many other popular speakers or just plain ole' intellectuals. Still to come this year....

- Jason Alexander (of Seinfeld fame..George Castanza ring a bell anyone?)
- Newt Gingrich (I'm boo-ing already)
- Afeni Shakur (You know I'll be there for this one)
- Petra Nemcova (Why, I dunno? Perhaps because she's gorgeous!)
- Immortal Technique (A rapper? Wow!)
